I study how compute, communication, and control reshape the modern grid as a cyber-physical system — from the hyperscale data centers and inverter-based resources now driving its load and dynamics, to the AI methods that lift modeling, forecasting, and market design, to the flexibility hidden across millions of distributed devices and the communication that surfaces it. The three threads below are different entry points into the same question.
